What Will We Be Doing In The Boot Camps?
Move
It Be Fit Boot Camps are group circuit training classes that take
place outdoors. Equipment to be used in class could include any
of the following: bodyweight, dumbbells, kettlebells, medicine balls,
resistance tubing, mini hurdles, or agility ladders. You certainly will
not get bored in class because we make our camps fun.
Participants could also learn about yoga, nutrition, breathing
techniques, or a variety of other health or fitness related topics.
The
types of exercises we use tend to be ones that use the whole body. Our
bodies work as a whole unit to perform day to day functions, so why
train any different. Whole body exercises use more calories than
movements that isolate muscle groups so you get more bang for your
buck. That means results at a much faster rate. Did I mention that we
will have lots of fun?
What Fitness Levels Can Attend?
Your
fitness level does not matter. Our well trained instructors are able
to modify exercises to make them doable for beginners all the way up to
athletes. The most important thing is that you are challenging
yourself, not comparing your ability level to everyone else.
What Should I Bring To the Boot Camp?
Here is a list of items you should bring with you to the camp:
- A friendly attitude and a great work ethic.
- Lots
of water to stay hydrated. Being properly hydrated will help your body
rid itself of the heat generated from exercise and provide a better fat
burning environment.
- A small towel to keep sweat from running into your eyes.
- A yoga mat or large towel to keep you from getting dirty when doing exercises lying down.
- A strong desire to have fun!
- If you need to purchase a yoga mat, you can do so right here on this page for just $11.
What Should I Wear To The Boot Camps? Here is a list of recommended items to wear to our boot camps:
- Workout clothing that allows you to move freely when working out.
- Athletic shoes that provide proper support and protection for your feet.
Do I Always Have To Attend The Same Location?
No, you do not. You can come to any of the locations listed above.
Will There Be Boot Camps Around Holidays?
We will not have boot camps on the following dates: Independence day (July4th), Labor Day (September 3rd)
Please Note: The fine print on your voucher says that your Boot Camp package expires on October 26, 2012. That means that you need to use all your classes by October 26th because that is the last day of our outdoor Boot Camp season.
